ABOUT THE
CONFERENCE

EAGE is pleased to announce that the 5th Carbon Capture, Utilization & Storage
Conference Asia Pacific is scheduled to be held in 15-16 September 2026 in
Qingdao, China. The conference anticipates more than 300 delegates from
70 organisations and 20 countries. The conference will play a pivotal role in
tackling the world’s energy trilemma. Given the unprecedented scale of the
challenge to mitigate emissions, collaboration and concerted effort between industries and other stakeholders are key to ensuring efficient, affordable, and safe approaches are being adopted to see effective CCUS deployment upscale rapidly.

The goals of the conference are to promote knowledge sharing on the latest capture advances from renowned experts and industry professionals, focus on subsurface workflows for CCUS evaluation through technical presentations, accelerate further consideration of the application of mainstream CCUS technologies in the Asia Pacific region, and exchange ideas and issues around CCUS technology.

To exchange valuable and actionable insights, the 5th Carbon Capture,
Utilization & Storage Conference Asia Pacific will bring together the expertise from subsurface specialists including geologists, geophysicists, reservoir engineers, project managers, and petrophysicists, as well as research and academia. Viewpoints from policymakers, activists, financial professionals, and strategists are conjointly expected to round up the discussion and scale up the carbon capture efforts in the region.
